38 hours to CNY !

Hmm, here's a pretty cool CNY Greeting Rat to adorn my blog (YP, I heard you !). Probably I can put up more interesting pics over the CNY holidays. Hmm, really hope get to play on this Sunday at either RPGC or Meru Valley, with Andrew, Viv and ST. Should have some interesting pics from there - thanks to the advent of camera phones :-)

Oh Yes ! Astro GC is rescreening the Dubai Desert Classic Day-4 tonight ! Can't wait to see how Tiger's charge on the 2nd nine terrified the lights out of Ernie and Henrik, so much so that they just resorted to dumping their balls into the lake. Sorry you have to hear me ranting about the "Low Foo" again, but you have to admire him for his inviolable mind, and his never-say-die attitude. Well, if only our Malaysian sportsman can cultivate this mindset, then we would have a lot more respectable world-beaters like Nicol David and not forgetting those who have the courage to ply their own trade professionally like Lim Siew Ai in the LPGA Tour (Golf) since 1999, and recently of course, Shalin Zulkifli uprooting herself from the comfort of amateur bowling (where she have won almost everything) into the fiercely competitive US professional Bowling Tour. Kudos to these ladies for pushing themselves to scale the pinnacle of their respective sports. Wonder, when can we (ever ?) have a rep in the PGA Tour (Golf), or the English Premier League (Soccer) - Ha-ha, I guess the only possibility is some big Malaysian tycoon buying one of the clubs, like Thaksin did to Man City :-) Back to reality, let's hope and pray that Malaysia can "perform credibly" in the Thomas Cup this year, starting with the qualification in 2 weeks time in Ho Chi Minh City. Landing the Cup would be ...... well, out of this world !

Had a good long sleep yesterday (still not enough though). Figures today will be sleeping late, as Huat will be coming over to watch how Tiger dispatches his challengers tonight at the Dubai Desert Classic, ending at 12 am.

Keeping my fingers crossed already, in the hope that the bridge would not be too congested as I'll "balik kampung" tomorrow afternoon. Logically, going down south should be not too bad as most of the folks would be on the other side of the road, either going back to their hometown or, visitors streaming in for food, sun and sea ! And, to all who will be travelling, please drive carefully ! Stay safe and make sure you don't need to make any unnecessary "donation$", if you know what I mean :-).
