Although it is my most 'pokai' month of the year, no less, it is one of the most exciting and fun one, started off with a bunch of birthdays, e.g. 4 (my mum, wife, daughter and dad-in-law) within 48 hours ! How co-incidental can it be :-). Well, with the major birthdays already history now, I'm looking forward to Christmas of course. This year, having our 'own' abode in Ipoh, it was time to dig back out our Christmas decors collected back in 2003-04 during my 1.5 years attachment in U.S. with my family. Fortunately, 99% of the decors are still in one piece, although a few really nice ones have part of their anatomy decapitated :-(
Well, one of the most enjoyable time of Christmas is putting up the Tree, and for this family, also, the little town and figurines under it. So, off we go, putting up the tree. Guess the snow is not falling yet - see pic -> :-)
Well, this was one week ago :-). Seems there was some snow showers yesterday night, and suddenly the snow flurries provided a totally different atmosphere and scenery under the Tree ! 'Everyone' is coming out to play . . . . ->
Saw some nifty little blue lights sold at The Living Cabin recently, and got the idea to snuff it down underneath the snow blankets, to create an eerie glowing light. Without this, the whole 'town' will not be apparent under dim lightings !
Well, I'm not really done yet, as I plan to expand the town a little more and throw in a couple more of the candle-lit figurines - like the Snowman in the picture. And, of course, need more presents ! Ha-ha, this year would be a riot of sort, as my bro-in-laws will be back, basically doubling the total head-count. Woo-hoo, exciting, exciting . . . . . .
